Within the refurbished area of the "Kaiser Wilhelm Monument" at Porta Westfalica it separates the restaurant "Wilhelm 1896" from the visitor centre without diminishing the vast extents of the building.

Light and open while at the same time creating a separate area - Series 750 is providing exactly what is required for the restaurant located behind the rounded windows of the reconstructed historical rotunda terrace.

The fixed glass element above the integrated coat rack blends in harmonically with the opening on both sides. These are consisting of a sliding panel and two double-action doors on one side and of two double-action doors with door floor closer on the opposite side.

All panels can effortlessly be moved to the side. The double-action doors allow for a smooth passage even if the unit is closed.

The technical information for the stacking-sliding units with door rails can be downloaded here.

The door rails are anodized in decent E6/EV1 and along with the individually designed glass panels perfectly fit in the surroundings.

This project well worth seeing was carried out by our customer Heinrich Niggemann GmbH + Co. KG from Muenster. Special thanks to architectural photographer Roland Borgmann for the great pictures.

The second highest monument in Germany towers above Porta Westfalica on the Wittekindsberg hill at a height of 268 metres. The Kaiser Wilhelm Monument is not only "dominating" the surrounding area but is also the symbol of an entire region. It offers a unique panorama and is located in rich cultural surroundings. Absolutely worth visiting!
